The microRNA profiles of extracellular vesicles (EVs) from sympathetic neurons.

Emerging evidence suggests that the autonomic nervous system contributes to tumor progression, but the molecular basis of nerve–tumor communication remains unclear. Here, we performed NGS analysis to investigate the microRNA (miRNA) profiles within EVs from sympathetic neurons. Overall design: To investigate the EV contents derived from sympathetic neurons, we prepared EVs from differentiated PC12 cells (dPC12 cells). As controls EVs from undiffrentiated PC12 cells (uPC12 cells) were prepared.PC12 differentiation was induced in the presence of NGF. EVs were isolated from culture supernatant using ultracentrifugation.
