Dataset for Spatiotemporal Patterns and Driving Mechanisms of Historical Epidemic Disasters in Southern Shaanxi,China

This dataset contains historical epidemic disaster records of southern Shaanxi, China. Records are extracted and standardized from local gazettes, historical archives and disaster documents. The dataset includes spatial location, occurrence time, epidemic type and descriptive information of epidemic disasters. Each entry is geocoded based on historical administrative boundaries. It is designed for exploring the spatiotemporal patterns of historical epidemics and revealing the interactive relationships between epidemic outbreaks, climate change and human-environment systems.
