Cruise passenger movements in Venice 2012-2023

The number of cruise passenger movements at the Italian ports of Venice and Chioggia roughly doubled in 2023 compared to the previous year. Despite the sharp annual increase, total passenger movements remained below the figures reported before the impact of COVID-19, reaching around 541 thousand in 2023.
