Based on publicly published re-sequenced genomes from other species of Suidae with them as outgroups, we polarized the ancestral sequences of Eurasian wild boar (Sus scrofa) species including domestic pigs and wild boars (with the Sscrofa11.1 as a reference sequence) to verify the ancestral status of each possition via maximum parsimony.
