We performed high-throughput genome resequencing on 18 multi-lumbar vertebra and 11 normal Duolang sheep and obtained > 528.87GB data. We use selective-sweep analysis to find that the most significant region is located in the 49.68-49.74MB of chromosome 4. Our research indicates that the SFRP4 gene may be a potential major selection site that affects the number of lumbar vertebrae in Duolang sheep. These data have important positive significance for molecular breeding of high-quality and high-yield multi-lumbar sheep.
