RNA-seq analysis of leukocytes from Brangus cattle following infestation with Rhipicephalus australis ticks

RNA sequencing of peripheral blood leukocytes from Brangus steers with high (n=5) and low (n=5) host resistance to the cattle tick, collected at three different timepoints during artificial tick infestation trial: pre-infestation (T0), 3-weeks post-initial infestation (T3), and 12-weeks post-initial infestation (T12). This study evaluates the transcriptional response to infestation with Rhipicephalus australis (post-vs-pre) and between divergent phenotypes of host resistance (low-vs-high).
