The School-Norway Survey 2011 Autumn

The Nordic Institute for Studies in Innovation, Research and Education (NIFU) has conducted biannual questionnaire surveys among schools and school owners on behalf of the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training since 2009. These surveys are known as Questions to School Norway (Spørsmål til Skole-Norge). Since 2009, the Directorate has had a system for coordinating surveys on various aspects of the education sector under framework agreements. The surveys are normally carried out twice a year in the education sector. The main purpose is to systematise surveys related to the knowledge needs of the Directorate and the Ministry of Education regarding the situation in the school and ECEC (early childhood education and care) sectors, in their follow-up of important priority areas, and as a basis for making decisions and setting priorities.
