Supporting material to Beam Diffraction by the Tip of a Cone and Creeping Beam Waves: Phenomenology Analysis via the Generalized Complex-Source Method
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the manuscript entitled Beam Diffraction by the Tip of a Cone and Creeping Beam Waves: Phenomenology Analysis Via the Generalized Complex-Source Method, submitted for publication to the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Publication. The dataset consists of avi-movies which represent time-domain representations of figures presented in the publication. They are intented to give a further insight into the wave physics and particularly to give evidence that the results are causal. Basically, the paper deals with a semi-infinite acoustically hard or soft circular cone which is illuminated by a complex-source beam. Choosing different beam and cone parameters allows to study the localized beam-cone interaction and the interpretation of the different effects like tip diffraction and the arise of creeping beam waves. For a detailed description and mathematical analysis, the readers are referred to the above mentioned manuscript.
