FPKM count data was summed for all genes annotated to each KEGG ortholog ID. The summed FPKM values and KEGG information for genes in pathways of interest were compiled into the spreadsheet and used to make bubble plots displayed the abundance of genes in metabolic pathways of interest (Figs. 4 and S6).
