The microbiota of breast milk samples collected at 3 months postpartum from a subset of the CHILD Cohort was characterized by amplicon sequencing of the V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene. The primary goals of this project include the characterization of milk microbiota and its association with infant gut microbiota. This project is related to an additional batch of breast milk samples that are registered under a separate BioProject accession number (PRJNA481046).
