According to the hydrological characteristics and vegetation pattern of Ejina oasis, 20 representative sample sites were selected. Soil cores were collected at six depth intervals of 0-10, 10-20, 20-40, 40-60, 60-80, and 80-100 cm. The data include soil carbon and environmental factors data of the study area, organic carbon turnover rate and organic carbon to inorganic carbon conversion ratio data.
