Neurogenic bladder (NB)-induced fibrosis is the major cause of irreversible bladder dysfunction, yet the underlying mechanisms remain undefined. Here, we performed single-cell RNA sequencing on bladder tissues collected from rats following bilateral pelvic nerve injury, and characterized the alterations in the bladder microenvironment post-injury.
