Transcriptome analysis on Tea plant

We comprehensively profiled transcriptomes of tea leaves exposed to low temperature with comparison of cold-tolerance and cold-sensitive cultivars. Our results reveal the key regulated genes and their gene ontologies. We identify the transcriptional changes, including energy metabolism, defense mechanism for the cold stress responses in the tea plant. Thus, our study provides novel insights into gene regulation from cold stress.
