Double bond characterization of free fatty acids directly from biological tissues by ultraviolet photodissociation

DESI-UVPD-MS imaging data was collected to localize double bonds in unsaturated fatty acids directly from ovarian and breast tumors. This data set comprises of imzML data files for fatty acids 20:4, 18:2, and 18:1 from an ovarian tumor and imzML data files for fatty acid 18:1 in breast tumors. Patient and sample demographics are provided.
