microRNA and mRNA analysis in sebaceous carcinoma of the eyelid with pagetoid spread

Pagetoid spread is a poor prognostic factor for sebaceous gland carcinoma (SGC) of the eyelid; however, its underlying molecular mechanisms remain unclear. This study aimed to investigate the expression profiles of microRNAs (miRNAs) and mRNAs in SGC of the eyelid with pagetoid spread. One of the goal of this study is to identify candidate miRNAs potentially regulating the processes involved in SGC of the eyelid with pagetoid spread.
