Here α0 is the intercept, α1 the parameter for sex (0 = female, 1 = male), α2 the parameter for pre-transfer diet (0 = full, 1 = sugar only), α3 the parameter for post-transfer diet, α4 the parameter for the interaction of sex and post-transfer diet, and α5 the parameter for the interaction of pre- and post-transfer diet (where post-transfer diet is coded in the same way as pre-transfer diet).
