This dataset contains the experimental and simulation data supporting the findings in the study of phase-separated Janus giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs) under AC electric fields. The data demonstrate how the intrinsic fluidity of lipid membranes drives reconfigurable motion and transient run-and-tumble-like behaviors, characterized by domain mixing and re-separation. Key results include fluorescence microscopy images, particle trajectories, velocity measurements, phase diagrams, and theoretical modeling of electrohydrodynamic flows and particle dynamics.
