Effects of Lactobacillus reuteri postbiotics on growth performance and intestinal health of broilers challenged with necrotic enteritis

Single factor experimental design was adopted, a total of one-day-old 180 male Arbor Acres broilerswere randomly divided into three treatment groups with 6 replicates in each group and 10 chickens in each replicate. All birds were raised in cages and had free access to feed and water. The animal trial lasted for 28 days. Birds in the control group and coccidia and C. perfringens CCP-challenged group were fed the basal diets, and challenged birds were fed basal diet supplemented with 100 mg/kg L. reuteri postbiotics. The corn-soybean meal basal diet used in the experiment was formulated according to the nutritional requirement of Chinese broiler breeding standard 2004.
