DIMPIE/LagPlon - Mollusca

Data on Mollusca provided mainly by the New Caledonian collection of IRD in Noumea, preserved at the Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle de Paris (MNHN). Data are referred to genus and species of sampled specimens along with taxonomical authorship; phylum/class/order/family taxonomy are also provided. Information on the sampling site, like the country and the locality, and on the event, such as the date, the visibility or the specialist collecting the specimens and more are recorded. Each specimen is linked to a species file and named with alphanumeric references, i.e. : MG218, MG being the Lagplon identifiant for mollusca from the class Gastropoda and 218 being the 218th specimen of Gastropoda referenced in the collection.
