Data from: "Estimating responses of marine benthic communities to reduced nutrient loading using process-based and statistical modelling"

This data contains result files from study “Estimating responses of marine benthic communities to reduced nutrient loading using process-based and statistical modelling” by A. Takolander, L. Forsblom, E. Miettunen, J. Piiparinen, N. Kallio, J. Ropponen, M. Viitasalo, E. Virtanen & V. Fleming (2026), published in Journal of Applied Ecology. In the study, spatial distributions of 81 benthic species were modelled, and the extents of suitable habitats were predicted under scenarios of reduced nutrient loading. Data files contain FICOS biogeochemical model outputs (dissolved inorganic nitrogen, DIN and dissolved inorganic phosphorus, DIP) and species distribution model outputs on 20 x 20 meters resolution in Archipelago Sea, SW Finland. Also code used to produce the results are provided. Specific file description is given in README.pdf.
