This dataset is developed to evaluate the farming quality of Chinese mitten crabs (Eriocheir sinensis) for an evaluation company and its cooperative farmers. It collects real-time data including farming environment, growth status and detection indicators, generates quality evaluation results, and automatically pushes suggestions such as water quality regulation and feeding plan adjustment for batches with an evaluation score below 70. For example, when the dissolved oxygen level is too low, it will trigger a linkage command for oxygenation equipment.
A graded sales mechanism is established: Chinese mitten crabs are classified into four grades based on the evaluation results: Special Grade (above 90 points), First Grade (80-89 points), Second Grade (70-79 points) and Third Grade (below 70 points), and matched with different channel pricing strategies. Special Grade products are supplied to high-end supermarkets, while Third Grade products are used for processing crab roe derivatives.
Real-time alarms will be issued for illegal medication use or substandard environmental conditions, to ensure the overall quality stability of Chinese mitten crabs and facilitate standardized production of the species.
The quality evaluation score is calculated as: (Environmental Adaptability Score * 0.3 + Growth Index Score * 0.4 + Safety Detection Score * 0.3) * Quality Correction Factor.
1. Environmental Adaptability Score (0-100 points): Calculated as (Water Temperature Score + Dissolved Oxygen Score + pH Score) / 3, with specific scoring rules:
- Water temperature: 15-25℃ is optimal, with a full score of 100; 5 points are deducted for each 1℃ deviation from the optimal range.
- Dissolved oxygen: ≥5mg/L is optimal, with a full score of 100; 8 points are deducted for each 0.5mg/L decrease below the optimal value.
- pH value: 7.5-8.5 is optimal, with a full score of 100; 6 points are deducted for each 0.3 deviation from the optimal range.
2. Growth Index Score (0-100 points): Calculated as (Weight Compliance Rate Score * 0.4 + Crab Roo Proportion Score * 0.3 + Shell Hardness Score * 0.3), with specific indicators and scoring rules:
- Weight Compliance Rate: 100% compliance results in a full score of 100; 1 point is deducted for each 1% decrease in compliance rate.
- Crab Roo Proportion: ≥25% is optimal, with a full score of 100; 5 points are deducted for each 2% decrease below the optimal value.
- Shell Hardness Grade: Special Grade = 100, First Grade = 80, Second Grade = 60, Off-grade = 40.
3. Safety Detection Score (0-100 points): 100 points are awarded if no pesticide residues are detected; 30 points are deducted for each item exceeding the standard.
Quality Correction Factor = Ecological Farming Mode Coefficient * Breeding Cycle Coefficient, where:
- Ecological Farming Mode Coefficient: 1 for ecological farming mode, 0.9 for non-ecological farming mode.
- Breeding Cycle Coefficient: 1 for breeding cycle ≥180 days, 0.9 for breeding cycle <180 days.
The final quality grades are consistent with the aforementioned classification: Special Grade (above 90 points), First Grade (80-89 points), Second Grade (70-79 points) and Third Grade (below 70 points).
