Solar Orbiter and Solar Dynamics Observatory data
This study utilizes solar observation data from the Solar Orbiter and the Solar Dynamics Observatory, including photospheric magnetograms and extreme ultraviolet filter images. These data combine Earth-facing and far-side solar observations to enable nearly continuous monitoring of the solar active region NOAA 13664, spanning over three full solar rotation cycles. The dataset contains 94 consecutive days of observational data, alongside 969 flare detections integrated from the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) and the X-ray imaging telescope instruments aboard Solar Orbiter. All images are projected onto a unified coordinate system and merged into a single standardized dataset, which is employed to track the evolution of magnetic flux and extreme ultraviolet emission, as well as calculate magnetic flux parameters to quantify the non-potentiality of the active region.
