This experiment was conducted on the survey platform of Netease.com, a Chinese internet giant providing various online services. By designing self-checking tasks, we measured participants' performance and attitudes under different information aggregation methods. The locations involved in the experimental tasks were derived from epidemiological investigation information published on the "Beijing Daily" platform from October 2021 to June 2022, limiting participants to residents of Beijing.Participants' main task was to complete a virtual self-checking questionnaire, which involved reading personal travel trajectories with a 3-day time window and comparing them with infectious disease risk points. They were instructed to imagine these trajectories as their actual travel routes and report any spatial and temporal overlaps with the listed risk points.We designed three different aggregation methods for presenting infectious disease risk information: Group by-Case, Group by-District, and Group by-Date. Participants were randomly assigned to one of these three groups and completed six different risk self-checking questions corresponding to their assigned group. The experimental platform recorded the time taken to answer each question. We also measured participants' perceived privacy anxiety using scale questions and collected other demographic information.
