The Berlin V2X Dataset was collaboratively created by multiple institutions including the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute in Germany, aiming to support machine learning research for 6G and future wireless communication systems. This dataset encompasses GPS-positioned wireless measurement data collected from various vehicles and wireless access technologies, covering the diverse urban environments of Berlin, including cellular networks from two different mobile network operators and sidelink wireless access technologies. Sampled at high temporal resolution, the dataset contains detailed wireless network data, vehicle GPS information, and metadata such as weather and traffic conditions. With a wide range of application scenarios, this dataset is mainly used to address the quality of service prediction problem in vehicular communications, and supports research on Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication solutions such as collision warning and emergency vehicle warning.
