Tea Plant Distribution Map and Reference Sample Dataset for Southwest Yunnan

This data package includes two complementary components: (1) a high-accuracy tea plant distribution map for Southwest Yunnan, generated by fusing Sentinel-1 C-band SAR and Sentinel-2 multispectral imagery through optimized feature selection and classification; and (2) a reference sample dataset of 1,023 ground truth points across six land cover types—tea plants, forest, rubber trees, water bodies, cropland, and built-up areas—manually interpreted from Google Earth imagery and standardized in ArcGIS. Together, they support regional agricultural monitoring, tea plantation management, land use studies, and training/validation of remote sensing classification models.
