AI-Based Real-Time Prediction of BHA Component Failure Using Drilling Parameters and Formation Type Integration: A Comprehensive Integrated Study

This study presents a comprehensive framework for AI-Based Real-Time Prediction of BHA Component Failure Using Drilling Parameters and Formation Type Integration. The research integrates drilling parameters such as WOB, RPM, Torque, and vibration with formation properties to predict potential component failures including MWD, mud motors, and stabilizers. The system applies machine learning models, real-time data analysis, and confidence thresholds to classify failure risks into warning levels. This work aims to enhance operational safety, reduce downtime, and optimize drilling performance in complex oilfield environments.
