New urban soils Potentally Toxic Elements database of an industrial territory (Saint-Etienne, France)

Ambient background of a territory with a strong industrial legacy.
Soils of urban green spaces were collected between April and July 2023, then analysed during 2023 - 2024. They were selected based on their location regarding the density of industry in the area and the last date of major land cover modification.
The dataset provides content values of As, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Mo, Ni, Pb, Ti, Zn, Al, Ba, Ca, Fe, K, Mg, and Mn in each of the 201 samples collected around and in Saint-Etienne agglomeration (France). A mean value was calculated for all elements in each park (42 sites).
