The reads come from one male Channa argus by Illumina HiSeq 2000 platform. We use these data to screen sex-specific molecular markers in Snakehead fish.
The head kidney tissues of randomly-selected three fish (Channa argus) for both infection group and control group (labeled as BI and WBI, respectively) were collected.
