Whole-Genome Sequencing of Fusarium oxysporum Isolated from Tobacco

Fusarium oxysporum (F. oxysporum) is a globally distributed, soil-borne pathogenic fungus with a wide host range, capable of causing various plant diseases. Genome scanning and analysis revealed a total genome size of 51,143,096 bp, comprising 1,153 scaffolds. A total of 17,272 protein-coding genes were predicted, including genes encoding carbohydrate-active enzymes (CAZymes), cytochrome P450 enzymes, virulence factors, and resistance genes. This genomic resource provides a foundation for future strategies to control Fusarium oxysporum.
