Nematode C. elegans natural variation strains show different temperature acclimation. Australian strain AB1 acclimates quickly to the new temperature, while Hawaiian strain CB4856 acclimates more slowly. We have identified VH15N14R.1 as a responsible gene polymorphism for temperature acclimation diversity.
