These image data cover four depth regimes from the ALHIC1901 core from the Allan Hills Blue Ice Area, Antarctica. We created high-resolution images of the ice microstructure via the Large Area Scanning Microscope (LASM) by Schäfter+Kirchhoff GmbH. These data are useful for understanding the current deformation at the ALHIC1901 site impacting the preserved climate record.
