NRS-2608 | Warrants [Young Gaol]

These warrants were kept for prisoners serving a term of imprisonment at Young Gaol. They contain such warrants as Warrant for Remanding a Prisoner, Warrant of a Conviction, and Warrant of Commitment for Trial. Some files contain additional material such as Extract of Return of Prisoners Convicted giving details of judge, court, date, offence and sentence; Record of Money and Property Deposited by Prisoner; Particulars of Conviction and History; transmission warrants for removal of prisoners; applications for remission of sentence; visiting surgeons report; and a very few have photographic description sheets attached.
