Farm Environment Acoustic Monitoring Survey dataset

This research aims to determine whether farmers monitor the acoustic environment of the farm or not. Also, the study was to find out whether farmers use any form of technology in monitoring the acoustic sources and what technologies can be developed to help the farmers monitor the essential acoustic sources of interest to them within the farm environment. The data was collected from farmers in three sectors: Nyamata, Mareba, and Mayange of the Bugesera District of Rwanda. The data was analysed and the results show farmers are willing to monitor various acoustic sources they described as pests.
