Data from a Route Wide Parish Boundary Trial Trenching Evaluation at Thorpe Mandeville, Northamptonshire, 2021 (HS2 Phase One)

This digital archive comprises images, spreadsheet, vector, and site record data from an archaeological evaluation at Thorpe Mandeville, Northamptonshire. The work was undertaken by High Speed Two Ltd in April till August 2021. The parish boundary evaluation aimed to investigate the origins, development and use of parish boundaries and important hedgerows within three counties along the HS2 Central scheme, through the excavation of 11 trenches across nine parish boundaries. A total of nine locations were determined as a representative sample of parish boundaries along the route suitable for investigating the development and use of parish boundaries.
