Colossus Stern Decoration - Coloured

Part of the elaborate stern decoration recovered from the wreck of HMS Colossus which foundered in the Isles of Scilly in 1798. The colour shown in this version is based on the fragments of paint discovered on the original (which were sadly lost during the conservation process). It is now on display in the visitor centre on the Island of Tresco.
