Small RNA in the feces of multiple sclerosis patients

RNA in the feces of multiple sclerosis (MS) patients and Healthy subjects was isolated according to published protocol (Liu et al, Cell Host & Microbe 2016; 19(1):32-43). Small RNA-seq libraries were constructed using NEXTflex™ Small RNA-Seq Kit (Bioo Scientific Corporation., USA). Libraries were further purified with a gel size selection using Blue Pippin (Sage Science, Inc. USA). The obtained libraries were sequenced with the Illumina NextSeq 500 System (50 nt, single read).
