The primary objective of this research is to develop and validate a generalized average model (GAM) of a dual active bridge (DAB) converter that incorporates higher-order harmonic components and considers a non-unity turn ratio of the high-frequency transformer. This aims to achieve a more accurate and realistic modeling and reconstruction of the transformer current of the DAB converter.<br><strong>GAM.zip</strong> consists of two MATLAB codes:<br>Fourier coefficient verification script for switching functions: <strong>Fourier_Coefficient_Verification.m</strong><br>Code to reconstruct the switching functions of the DAB converter operating in Single Phase Shift Modulation (SPS). The accuracy of the reconstructed switching functions can be tuned by changing the order of harmonics to be considered during the reconstruction.<br>Generalized average model of DAB converter considering the contribution up to and including 9th harmonics: <strong>9_th_Harmonic_GAM_model.m</strong><br>Code that provides the improved GAM model of a DAB converter, considering the contribution up to and including 9th harmonics, proposed in the referenced publication.<br>Both MATLAB codes have been explained properly with in-line comments.<br>No data has been collected from an external source for this research. The MATLAB codes are created based on the proposed modeling procedure within the referenced publication.
