Single-cell RNA sequencing of MCF-7 cells treated with 17-ß estradiol or fulvestrant, and fulvestrant resistant derivatives of MCF-7 cells

Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) on MCF-7 breast cancer cells treated with fulvestrant or 17-ß estradiol, and MCF-7 cell line derivatives made resistant to fulvestrant. Overall design: High throughput single cell RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) using the Drop-seq method was used to analyse single cell transcriptomes of MCF-7 cells that are treated with fulvestrant, and then released from fulvestrant arrest by the addition of 17-ß estradiol. Fulvestrant resistant cell lines were also examined.
