Mai Kim says the name of the sound made by well fired pottery. Knocking pottery is the real way to tell how cooked a pot is is to listen to the sound it makes. A good sound make by the pots is called "kiêng kiêng" or “khiên khiên”. Yo Khoanh adds the term “ndrau”, which might be the name of the sound in Rade language.
