Hellas Trig Points Dataset - September 2025

This is a comprehensive, crowd-sourced dataset of the Hellenic Army Geographical Service (ΓΥΣ) trigonometric points in Greece. The dataset is an export from the vathra.gr project and includes a combination of official geodetic data and user-submitted reports. It contains: - Geospatial locations (WGS84 and ΕΓΣΑ87 coordinates) for over 25,000 points. - Official data including point name, elevation, order, and map sheet information. - User-verified status (OK, Damaged, Missing, etc.). - A complete history of user-submitted reports with comments and image references. This dataset is intended for use by surveyors, hikers, GIS professionals, and history enthusiasts to track and preserve this important part of Greece's geodetic heritage.
