RNA-seq of cerebral cortex on mice wih or without TBI

The study aims to identify gene expression differences in the peri-contusional area of the mouse cerebral cortex 24 hours post-TBI. Using the lateral fluid percussion injury (LFPI) method, a TBI mouse model was established, while the sham group underwent a similar procedure without injury. By comparing gene expression profiles between the TBI and sham groups, we seek to uncover key pathways and potential therapeutic targets involved in the early response to TBI, which is crucial for understanding and mitigating its effects.
