Regional Truck Routes (Atlanta Region)
收藏资源简介:
This layer was developed by the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) as part of the Atlanta Strategic Truck Route Master Plan (ASTRoMaP). It is a comprehensive network of truck routes that form an arterial grid system across the metropolitan region. The network includes eight north/south corridors, seven east/west corridors, and nine connector corridors to access major freight areas. Its purpose is to identify efficient regional truck routes to direct truck movements and reduce truck vehicle-miles traveled (VMT), using roadways with truck-friendly design that also provide direct access to pick-up and delivery locations.
