A newly synthesised and characterized diiodine-substituted natural eudesmic acid - 2,6-DiIodo-3,4,5-TriMethoxyBenzoic Acid (DITMBA) and its water soluble sodium salt (NaDITMB) is investigated in respect to commonly applied radiocontrast media in medical practice (Omnipaque®). A phantom with the iodine solutions was scanned with Philips Juno DRF system at different imaging conditions: 46 kV, 80 kV, 95 kV and 100 kV.
