Regarding "Dutch Disease Resistance: Evidence from Indonesian Firms" by James Cust, Torfinn Harding and Pierre-Louis Vézina. Firm-level data: This paper uses proprietary data from Indonesian Census of Manufacturing (Survei Manufaktur, the Indonesian Census of Manufacturing conducted by the National Statistical Office (BPS). They do not review our results. Oil exploration data: Our dataset on oil exploration wells is taken from the PathFinder database provided by Wood Mackenzie, an oil industry consultancy based in Edinburgh, UK. Wood Mackenzie provides this data on a non-disclosure, academic use basis. The PathFinder database is a proprietary collation of the world’s oil and gas activities integrating asset specific information with GIS positioning. This includes exploration wells, oil fields, blocks and other asset information. While we are permitted to publish summary statistics and any results derived from our analysis, the sharing of the full dataset, including proprietary or identifying details has not been granted. This therefore precludes us from sharing the data for replication purposes. For a user to access the data, for example for replication purposes, permission is granted on a commercial subscription basis. The Pathfinder dataset can be accessed on a regional or global basis.
