The complete chloroplast genome of <i>Elaphoglossum sinii</i> (Dryopteridaceae), an endemic fern from China

<i>Elaphoglossum sinii</i> C. Christensen 1932 is an endemic species of <i>Elaphoglossum</i> (Dryopteridaceae) in China, distributed in Guangxi and Yunnan provinces. Here, we assembled and annotated the first complete chloroplast genome sequence of <i>E. sinii</i>, which has a circular structure of 163,869 bp in length and GC content is 40.8%. The chloroplast genome contains 121 genes, including 79 protein-coding genes, 34 tRNA genes, and eight rRNA genes. Phylogenetic analysis based on the protein-coding sequences showed that <i>E. sinii</i> is closely related to <i>Elaphoglossum yoshinagae</i>. These results could provide the genetic information data for further phylogenetic studies of <i>Elaphoglossum</i>.
