Rhizobium Sp. RSv-15 isolated from the root nodules of the French bean (Phaseolus vulgaris). This strain originates from Siliguri Sub-division of Darjeeling District of West Bengal, India.
It is a novel species of the family Promicromonosporaceae. The strain was isolated from the gut of a long-horned beetle, Massicus raddei and could degrade xylane.
