Ural Dark Honeybee Genome

Here we resequenced the whole genomes of three drones of dark honey bee (Apis mellifera mellifera) collected from the South Urals (Bashkortostan, Russia). Drone 1 was collected from one colony in Natural Preserve Shulgan-Tash (Burzyansky district, Bashkortostan, Russia) originated from the Burzyan population. Drone 2 was collected from one colony in Valeev's apiary (Chishminsky district, Bashkortostan, Russia) originated from the Baltach population. Drone 3 was collected from one colony in Kugeiko's apiary (Iglinsky district, Bashkortostan, Russia) originated from the Burzyan population. Samples were sequenced in Seoul National University National Instrumentation Center for Environmental Management using Illumina Hiseq 2500.
