"Parcels will be offered in a Call for Bids from which licences will be issued to successful bidders. Each parcel is composed of sections of grid areas which are defined in the Canada Oil and Gas Regulations. In the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Area, the maximum allowable parcel size is 800 sections with the only exception being parcels within the Jeanne d’Arc region, which cannot exceed 400 sections."相关油气区块将通过招标公告对外发售，中标投标人将据此获得相应许可证。每个油气区块均由《加拿大石油天然气法规》中规定的网格区域单元组成。在加拿大-纽芬兰与拉布拉多近海区域内，单个区块的最大允许规模为800个网格单元，唯一例外为让娜·达克（Jeanne d’Arc）区域内的区块，其规模不得超过400个网格单元。
