Data and coding materials for: Environmental sustainability in Portuguese food-based dietary guidelines
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the coding data, the full scoring protocol and the document screening log for the article “Environmental sustainability in Portuguese food-based dietary guidelines: implications for planetary health and nutrition policy” (Mateus G., Pinto A.M., Ferreira-Pêgo C., Assunção R.). Eleven Portuguese food-based dietary guideline documents were analysed: six consumer-facing documents and five background technical documents. They were assessed with two instruments:(i) a breadth and depth assessment of environmental-sustainability content against the 16 FAO/WHO Guiding Principles for Sustainable Healthy Diets, adapted from James-Martin et al. (2022);(ii) an exploratory comparison of consumer-facing food-group recommendations with the targets of the 2025 EAT-Lancet Commission, used as a reference pattern. Files: FBDG_Portugal_coding_dataset.xlsx: the documents assessed; the 176-cell breadth grid (16 principles × 11 documents), with independent coding by two coders and the consensus coding; inter-rater agreement (observed agreement, Cohen’s kappa, PABAK), calculated by formula, overall and for each stage of document identification; depth scores with page references and the supporting passages in the original language; summaries by document set and by document; and EAT-Lancet alignment scoring by food group, with the source document for each recommendation. Supplementary_Materials_Scoring_Protocol_and_Results (PDF and DOCX): both scoring instruments in full, the document selection criteria and identification process (Figure S1), the records excluded after full-text assessment (Table S9), the food-group mapping decisions, the coded results (Tables S1–S9) and the sensitivity analyses. Document_screening_log.xlsx: the documented verification search of 3 November 2026 (sources, search terms and counts), the included documents, the records assessed in full text with reasons, and every record of the PNPAS online library with its screening decision and reason (in Portuguese). README.md: a description of the files. The guideline documents themselves are publicly available from the sources cited in the article and are not redistributed here.Version 2 (November 2026): updated after editorial review, with a documented verification search, one additional background document (11 documents), a 176-cell coding grid, Figure S1 and Table S9.
