<i>Rubus swinhoei</i> Hance is an important plant owing to its medicinal root and edible fruit, and extensively distributed in China. In this study, we reported the complete chloroplast genome of <i>R. swinhoei</i>. The chloroplast genome was 156,335 bp in size with the overall GC content of 37.15%, having a circular and quadripartite structure, which contained a large single-copy (LSC) and a small single-copy (SSC) regions of 85,897 bp and 18,858 bp separated by a pair of 25,790 bp inverted repeat (IR) regions. The complete chloroplast genome comprised 131 unique genes of which 86 and 37 were protein-coding genes and tRNA genes, respectively, and also eight rRNA genes. The phylogenetic analysis revealed that <i>R. swinhoei</i> was closely related to <i>R. kawakamii</i>. The genome information reported in this paper will be beneficial for further investigation on the evolution of this species.
小柱悬钩子(Rubus swinhoei Hance)因其根部兼具药用价值、果实可食用,且在中国广泛分布,是一种具有重要研究与应用价值的植物。本研究报道了该物种的完整叶绿体基因组序列。该叶绿体基因组全长156335 bp,总GC含量为37.15%,呈环状四分体结构,包含一对长25790 bp的反向重复(inverted repeat, IR)区,以此分隔长度分别为85897 bp的大单拷贝(large single-copy, LSC)区与18858 bp的小单拷贝(small single-copy, SSC)区。该完整叶绿体基因组共包含131个独特基因,其中编码蛋白基因86个、转运RNA(transfer RNA, tRNA)基因37个,另有核糖体RNA(ribosomal RNA, rRNA)基因8个。系统发育分析结果显示,小柱悬钩子与台湾悬钩子(Rubus kawakamii)亲缘关系紧密。本研究报道的基因组信息将为该物种的进化相关后续研究提供有力支撑与有益参考。
